Job Description
Transportation Engineer (Deerfield, IL)
Review application construction standards, regulations, and contract requirements necessary for projects such as designing roads, highways, sidewalks, retaining walls, steel structures, and bridge inspection. Conduct field inspection of Tollway, IDOT, CDOT, CCDOT, and other firm projects. Review and prepare structural drawings and cost estimates using MicroStation update the changes if needed before submittal. Comply with all applicable safety and environmental requirements. Contribute to schedules, track project progress, and keep contract conflict from escalating into a problem.
Requires master's in Civil Engineering.
