Job Description
Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an Informatica Administrator to administer the Informatica platform and be responsible for the security configuration, licensing, and the physical install and location of the services and nodes/secure agents that compose the Informatica platform. Specific duties include: install, upgrade, configure, optimize, and administer the Informatica platform, either on-premises and/or IICS; manage the Informatica platform components related to configuration, security, and connectivity; liaise with Systems Administrators, Management, UNIX Administrators, Network Administrators, and DBAs to schedule and implement changes; support production jobs with performance tuning, metrics, and troubleshooting; manage the Informatica technical support relationship; monitor all environments to detect issues and trends before they impact users; demonstrate knowledge in logical and physical data modeling, data integration best practices, tools, and technologies. Option to work remotely is available.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Warehouse Specialist, or similar position in Informatica administration. Specific experience must include: administering the Informatica Platform on-premises or IICS in a multi-terabyte data warehouse; working with multi-terabyte databases including PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle; working with SQL, Linux Shell, PowerShell, and PERL; working with enterprise scheduler Autosys; presenting complex technological concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences; working across multiple business and technical teams; and working in fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadline delivery timeline.
