What you will be doing
The Business Development Executiveis a quota-carrying role, focused on establishing Referral and/or Program Management partnerships with Financial Institutions. The person is an integral part of the Merchant Solutions for Financial Institutions (MSFI) team. You will be creating relationships and negotiating partnerships with both regional and national banks across various roles internally and within the FI. Ideally, you have a proven track record of success working for or with FIs with a payment, software or technology background.

Key responsibilities:

Industry networking, prospecting and driving new relationships across the banking eco-system
Engage prospects to build broad organizational trust relationships and cultivating C-Level / Senior Level contacts
Create and execute plans for securing new partnerships with bank to drive new revenue and distribution for Worldpay
Actively communicate with prospects our Worldpay value as well as providing strong communication of prospect needs back into Worldpay
Organize internal teams for RFP responses, presentations and orchestrate negotiation of multi-year, complex and high value agreements
Identify strategies and solutions that drive action in matrixed organizations
Build and maintain an active pipeline that is 3x of your assigned quota, to attain and exceed sales and revenue targets
Willingness to travel as needed and appropriate for prospect and internal meetings

What you bring:

Business Development: 10+ years of proven experience in long cycle, complex business developmentor strategicpartnerships working for a leading payment,FinTech orsoftware company
Demonstrated ability to initiate and close significant deals, driving complex negotiations, seeking mutual long-term value for Worldpay and prospective partners
Proven consultative selling abilities, with a demonstrated ability to think creatively about partner needs, opportunities and potential solutions
A strong entrepreneurial instinct with a focus ondrivingresults. Deliver proactive behaviors and thrive working in high expectation/high profile situations
Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication disciplines and interpersonal relationship skills
Highly developed work ethic and proven business integrity
A Bachelor degreeor higher
