Job Description

The Territory Manager is responsible for increasing S&C sales in the Northeast Region of the US, specifically for Eastern Pennsylvania, while protecting the interests of S&C through the forging and maintaining of strong customer relationships, capturing and increasing sales. The successful candidate will have experience selling product solutions to the electrical power market or related technical sales. They will enjoy a fast-paced competitive environment, where they identify large scale customer needs, emerging trends and effectively respond to opportunities. This role focuses on the S&C utility and commercial/industrial/institutional product sales opportunities in Eastern Pennsylvania and reports to the Regional Vice President, Northeast.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrated proficiency selling technical products preferably in the power distribution market space.
Demonstrate experience assessing and meeting customer expectations and needs.
Must excel at and enjoy delivering customer and sales presentations, developing proposals and speaking in front of an audience of customers.
Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships necessary to effectively sell the S&C's products and services.
Ability to oversee a significant number of projects and initiatives at the same time due to the diverse customer base of utilities, distributors, contractors, consultants, and commercial/industrial/institutional entities.
Partner with inside sales support, product specialists, operations, and other key team members to support the needs of company and customer.
Develop the expertise to apply, specify, and support the company's products across our various customer classifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated sales experience, preferrable in the electric power industry or in Sales marketing service experience in technical sales.
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the application and operation of medium voltage electrical equipment
An energetic team player and driven self-starter, with a positive mindset and excellent work ethic.
Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines with resilience and intellectual flexibility.
Approximately 70% local travel with national travel 1 or 2 times per year.
