Job summary:
We are seeking a Technical Lead with 6 to 9 years of experience to manage projects in the Cards and Payments domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PySpark, PyTest, AWS, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, Amazon SQS, and Amazon EventBridge. Experience in Data Modelling, SQL and Unix is a plus. This role involves leading technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of technical solutions using PySpark PyTest and AWS services.
- Oversee the design and deployment of AWS Lambda functions to ensure efficient processing of data.
- Provide technical guidance on the use of AWS S3 for data storage and management.
- Manage the integration of Amazon SQS and Amazon EventBridge for seamless event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and performance.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all implemented solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical training as needed.
- Improve data modeling and SQL queries for better performance.
- Utilize Unix commands and scripts for system administration and automation tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Possess strong experience in PySpark, PyTest, AWS, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, Amazon SQS, and Amazon EventBridge.
- Demonstrate expertise in the Cards and Payments domain.
- Have a solid understanding of Data Modelling and SQL.
- Show proficiency in Unix commands and scripting.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Preferably have certifications in AWS or related technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Demonstrate a history of successful project management.
- Display a customer-centric minds.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is $95,000-$135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
