Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:

Product Managers Heavy Maintenance are responsible for direct oversight & assistance of technical support functions within the Out-Side Vendor (OSV) network. This role requires a front-line authority who is proficient with many facets of aircraft maintenance, check flow, and troubleshooting while also prioritizing healthy relationships with interfacing departments.

Product Managers collaborate with numerous stakeholders to deliver on time commitments for a safe, compliant, and predictable product. Flexibility, subject matter expertise, and professionalism are key attributes for this role meshed with exacting standards for performance, partnership, and integrity. Achieving committed results in a timely and compliant manner is paramount. Interacting with subordinates outside of reporting structures will be mandatory for success and effectiveness.

Facility Visits: 100%

International travel required? Yes

Operational schedule/onsite at facilities required: 90%

+ Direct oversight of safety, quality & compliance during station start-ups & closures. Responsible for transition confidence, monitoring aircraft, assisting & interjecting to ensure completion.

+ Ownership of flight test readiness via on-site support or trend monitoring for improvement opportunity. Warranty research for heavy maintenance vendors & suppliers.

+ SME for troubleshooting when chronic situations arise or prior to utilizing trends and performance analysis. Reliability & ORI research to determine root cause & prevention initiatives.

+ Assist in training and onboarding of new hire indoctrination & systems awareness/use. Planning & programs liaison for SME input & on-site assistance for special projects. Monitor & assist in project flow creation & standardization, stakeholder inputs as required. Special projects as assigned to improve, standardize & share best practices.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aviation experience

+ Minimum of 8 years overall aviation industry experience

+ Minimum of 4 years supervisory, project management experience in aviation related fields, aircraft technical expertise with proven track record.

+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate

+ Aircraft heavy maintenance, troubleshooting ability

+ Technical expertise & aircraft troubleshooting ability

+ Aircraft maintenance management

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners

+ Proven organization and leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

+ Ability to partner in a variable and complex environment achieving predictable results, partnership and relationship building along the way.

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field

+ Supervision of management team members, budget management, data analytics & Tend recognition.

+ Fleet specific engine run/taxi, GenFam

+ Finance or project management experience

+ Technician, Line, Engineering, Inspection or Planning roles
