Hourly is 35-45/hour for 6 month contract

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Partner to join our client's Total Rewards team. This individual will take full ownership of the assessment and administration of all employee benefits, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our employees, regardless of the sensitivity of the issues involved. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, open enrollment processes, partnership with payroll, audits, process documentation, and vendor relations. Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Assessment and Administration:
Conduct thorough assessments of current benefit programs and recommend enhancements to meet the evolving needs of employees and the organization.
Administer all employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other ancillary benefits.
Open Enrollment:
Lead the planning, communication, and execution of the annual open enrollment process.
Ensure employees are well-informed about their benefits options through comprehensive and clear communication materials and sessions.
Partnership with Payroll:
Collaborate closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit deductions.
Resolve any discrepancies between payroll and benefits records promptly.
Audits and Compliance:
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration.
Prepare for and participate in compliance audits and reviews.
Process Documentation:
Develop and maintain detailed process documentation for all benefits-related activities.
Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Vendor Relations:
Manage relationships with benefits vendors to ensure high-quality service and competitive pricing.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues related to benefits administration.
Employee Experience:
Provide exceptional support to employees with benefits-related inquiries, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism and care.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
Experience working in a multi-state environment.
Proficiency in Workday.
