Description:

At Epiq Solutions, we are hiring an IT project manager contractor for 20 hours / week (~ 8a.m. – Noon Central time daily) for 6 months to support successful implementation of IT Migration and Integration Projects.


  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to ensure we meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues including prioritization, mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
  • Negotiate and agree with stakeholders on achievement of key requirements and objectives of the IT programs.
  • Maintain hands-on control of the projects through a process of daily stand-ups, regular project reviews and team meetings.
  • Provide program visibility with local and remote team members through the use of collaborations tools (Miro Board currently being used) and regular communication updates.


Responsibilities include:

  • Project Manage with the support of IT Director and Integration Leader a diverse range of IT migration and integration projects.
  • Drives cross-functional teams in the delivery of complex, diverse and overlapping IT projects.
  • Works with stakeholders to gain buy-in and confirm needed resources are available.
  • Monitor and create new when needed, detailed master schedules including dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Maintains oversight and accountability for IT project performance against an agreed set of metrics.
  • Motivates teams ensuring collaboration along with consistent communication throughout the roll-outs, lessons learned after projects to strive for continuous improvement in project results.


Requirements:

Required Skills

  • Five+ years of relevant IT project/program management experience with a track record of
  • strong performance working on complex cross-functional IT initiatives utilizing a structured
  • project management methodology and formal tools/approaches
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to continuous change and growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to solve problems with innovative thinking
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

Desired Skills

? PMP certification a plus

? Change management training a plus
