Job Description
988 Call Center Specialist
Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM until 12:00 AM (midnight)
Full Time Direct Hire

Responsibilities
Provides mental health and crisis intervention supports to individuals contacting the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline via phone, chat or text.
Works collaboratively and engages individual contacting 988 to manage and de-escalate crises in the least invasive manner possible to ensure safety.
Collaboratively develops and assists in implementation of crisis safety plans.
Provides mental health referrals and linkages as appropriate during service provision.
Offers and provides follow-up services to 988 utilizers presenting with suicide ideation.
Maintains required training, licensure and/or certification
Completion of required documentation within established timeframes
Use of an Electronic Client Record, call management software, and chat/text management software.
Demonstrates independent judgment
Participates in emergency response activities as assigned
Requirements
Candidates for consideration require either a Bachelor's in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
