As an important member of our Quality team, the Receiving Inspector 1 supports Quality and Manufacturing operations by executing quality inspection of incoming parts and materials. These tasks require timely communication and documentation of test results and activities to ensure the continual quality of items in production. The Inspector 1 will provide support in product audit testing on an ad hoc basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Inspection
Perform quality inspection of incoming parts and materials, ensuring parts/materials meet required specifications.
Perform random product validation audits on dock to stock parts/materials, ensuring products meet specifications.
Fully define and document all findings in Agile and Quality SharePoint folder.
Create Non-Conforming Report (NCR) and Stock Purge Record (SP) on any defects found.
Maintain all Receiving Inspection Lab equipment, ensure proper working order and calibration is up to date.
Conduct daily process and product audits of current Work in Process (WIP).
Management Systems
Support the Quality Assurance procedures per ISO 9001 standards.
Support Quality Engineers in the creation of engineering changes as needed.
Create and modify Receiving Inspection Plans (RIPs) as required.
Work closely with Quality Inspection Supervisor, all Operation and Engineering groups to continually improve processes.
Support relevant department goals and objectives including environmental goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications
A two-year technical degree or the equivalent combination of training, experience, or certifications
Two-year of relevant experience in high-tech electronics manufacturing with experience in Quality Control testing, Inspection, service repair, or similar skill function.
Demonstrated ability to understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Documented ability to understand and follow technical instructions drafted in English for testing or repairing electronic equipment.
Demonstrated ability to work with delicate technical components in a manner that promotes safety and results in a high quality product.
Proven competency in the operation of Coordinate Electronic Microscope, DMM's, power supplies and other test equipment
Documented ability to communicate complex technical issues within email or other written formats.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deal effectively with conflicting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
LSS Green / Yellow Belt
Documented project management and time management skills.
Demonstrated strong ability with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas), Word, and ERP / MRP queries.
