Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for day-to-day supplier communications and setting priorities through cross-functional interaction with operations, planning and program management.
+ Create daily status reports and communicate the results with our customers, prime aerospace manufacturers, throughout the day.
+ Communicate potential shipping delays including identifying root cause with suppliers on delays and establish recovery plans to bring shipments back online through e-mail and phone communications.
+ Work any potential delivery delays
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
+ Work with program office on reporting status to internal customers.
+ Work with operations to understand their build plans and requirements via SAP and relate this to OTD
+ Obtain and maintain On Time Delivery to MRP required date
+ Complete Line of Balance
+ SAP experience needed
Desired Skills:
+ Medium Excel skills (Intermediate)
+ Supply Chain Purchasing experience required.
+ Tableau experience a plus
+ 4 yr. degree preferred.
+ High School Diploma with 3-5 years supply chain delivery assurance experience acceptable
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
+ Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
+ Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
+ Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
+ Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
+ Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
+ Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
