Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to perform start-to-finish assembly of packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will be required to assemble off a blueprint using hand and power tools. The role involves understanding and interpreting assembly drawings, planning assembly sequences, and building assemblies, sub-assemblies, as well as standalone machines or large integrated systems. The position requires the ability to work in multiple areas of assembly and utilize a variety of power and hand tools effectively.

Hard Skills

+ Experience in mechanical assembly role

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and build to prints

+ Proficient use of hand and power tools

+ Experience in equipment, machinery or larger product assembly

+ Mechanical machine assembly

Soft Skills

+ Ability to independently determine hardware required for assembly build

+ Ability to plan assembly and build sequence

+ Ability to interpret and understand assembly and detail drawings

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wood Dale, Illinois.
