Design Project Manager

Job Description

Description:

+ Lead development of executable designs for renovation, replacement, and new installations

+ Manage design budgets for construction projects with budgets ranging from $500,000 – $1,000,000

+ Establish creative strategy, budgets, and schedules for projects

+ Implement building standards for design delivery

+ Review quality and accuracy of design projects

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for design

+ Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders, internal business partners, IT, and vendors

+ Provide reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress upon completion

+ Travel for site visits

Skills & Qualifications:

+ Must have experience in MEP Engineering or Mechanical Contracting

+ Must have experience with building engineering- automation and manufacturing backgrounds are not applicable

+ Must have Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, MEP Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management

+ Must be US accredited degree

+ 5-7 years of experience in project management

+ This does not include internship experience

+ Revit and AutoCAD proficiency, Procore proficiency is a plus

+ Experience managing projects from start to finish

+ Experience with municipal, public sector, industrial projects

+ Licensure is a plus

+ Must be local- in office/hybrid role
