job summary:

Great Client is seeking temporary support for a Supply chain Coordinator. The Supply Chain Coordinator will interface daily with Supply Chain Managers, Operations, and Value Stream leaders to understand critical supplier parts based on business unit and Collins sites. Work directly with the Procurement team to escalate part issues where needed, and obtain supplier commits. Collaborate with procurement to identify opportunities for schedule improvement at suppliers. Report status regularly to Operations and Value Stream stakeholders.

responsibilities:

+ Improve visibility into material availability

+ Receive inputs from Value stream and operations on priority parts. Based on inputs, generate business unit and site priorities for the procurement team

+ Communicate daily with operations and supply chain personnel to convey critical parts status, based on priority

+ Clear internal obstacles to ensure parts are moving through approval processes, such as quality inspections, first article reviews, and engineering changes.

+ Attend weekly working level supply chain, site, and business unit meetings; provide part status inputs.

+ Maintain daily tracking files of critical parts by business unit and site

+ SAP reporting

+ Experience level: Experienced

+ Minimum 5 years of experience

+ Education: Bachelors
