job summary:
Senior Technical Application support analyst position that is primarily responsible for the troubleshooting and resolution of mainframe application issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ 5+ years’ experience in IT
+ 5+ years SQL programming experience.
+ Experience developing or supporting Tandem Non-Stop applications is preferred.
+ COBOL/Mainframe coding, compiling, and troubleshooting experience/exposure is preferred.
+ CL programming experience/exposure is preferred.
+ 2+ years’ experience in VB .NET or other .NET Language is preferred.
+ Incident and problem management experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
+ 5 Years of experience in systems development or application support
+ SQL
+ TACL
+ Pathway
+ Guardian OS
PREFERRED SKILLS:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
+ Manages and configures system monitoring.
+ Diagnoses and troubleshoots system or application performance.
+ Leverages relationships with IT hardware and software partners.
+ Creates and follows process/documentation standards.
+ Assists in the deployment of solutions and associated documentation.
+ Skilled at managing multiple priorities with demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of Business and IT groups including management
+ Ability to effectively work independently via technical specification
+ Supports our customers and associates outside business hours as per schedule.
SCHEDULE:
This position has core work hours on third shift (roughly 4pm-Midnight Central Standard time, Sunday through Thursday). However, flexibility is needed for work hours for this position and are subject to the needs of the business. Sometimes you may be working on something critical that takes you past your planned work hours. Schedule variances are part of the job, which may include covering other shifts or weekends, holiday support rotation, the occasional need to cover split-shifts, and a rotating responsibility as an escalation person.
