Levy is seeking a skilled and motivated People Data Analyst to join our team in Chicago. The People Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing workforce data, providing actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for data and a keen interest in human resources and organizational development.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Workforce Optimization, this position is responsible for analyzing current workforce trends such as turnover and retention, direct employee feedback such as survey data, and any other type of applicable people data. The People Data & Labor Analyst will also play a significant role in labor operations, the furlough process, and optimizing existing hourly labor management practices, leading to the development and implementation of a labor plan that optimizes labor controls and efficiency across the business. The People Data & Labor Analyst will focus becoming a subject matter expert in our HR systems, including our time management system, people-data centralization system, and other systems that are needed to enhance our labor management.

The Responsibilities:

+ Data Collection & Management: Gather, organize, and maintain large datasets related to employee demographics, performance, engagement, retention, and other HR metrics.

+ Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses using statistical methods and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in people-related data.

+ Reporting: Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings and insights to HR leadership and other stakeholders.

+ Predictive Analytics: Utilize predictive modeling techniques to forecast workforce trends and inform proactive HR strategies.

+ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes and reporting mechanisms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, and operations teams to understand data needs, provide analytical support, and contribute to strategic projects.

+ Compliance: Ensure all data handling and analysis activities comply with relevant privacy and data protection regulations.

Track and Share Information:

+ Temp Spend

+ Overtime Spend

+ Total Labor Spend as % of Revenue

+ Actual vs Projected Labor Spend

+ Pay Accuracy

+ Ensure that hourly workers are active/furloughed appropriately based on seasonality.

+ Support sectors hourly workforce planning through season planning process.

+ Focus on producing labor optimization action plans for key properties/markets.

Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques.

+ Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

+ Human resources, labor management, or organizational development experience.

+ Experience with HRIS systems and familiarity with other HR processes and metrics.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

+ Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in computer science, data science, Statistics, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, mathematics, or a related field.

+ Experience using data visualization tools, visual features of statistical software tools, and PowerPoint to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.

+ Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and work in a collaborative setting.

+ Proficiency in data analysis software and tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Python, Power BI, R, SQL).

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

+ Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
