The work we do here matters.Department OverviewThe Critical Communications Infrastructure Hardware team is a group within the Critical Communications organization of Motorola Solutions (MSI). The team is responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated and highly reliable communications, infrastructure and networking products for Mission Critical and commercial communication products across a variety of global markets and standards.Job Description
Responsibilities:

Program Manage (PM) RF Site Hardware projects to effectively meet customer needs by developing new product solutions and improving existing products, including tracking and evaluation of project performance.

Work closely with MSI Supply Chain to coordinate prototype factory builds and to introduce new designs into production.

Conduct program team meetings.

Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics.

Direct and coordinate cross functional teams to quickly resolve any supply chain, customer or quality issue on current RF Site products.

Interface with MSI supply chain to receive and manage change requests from suppliers of components used on currently shipping RF Site Hardware products.

Utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, risk assessment, action item log, etc) to create project plans, analyze complex issues and work closely with cross functional teams to develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s).

Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

Present program status as required to different organization levels.

Interface with international engineering and manufacturing teams to coordinate deliverables. Flexible hours may include periodic evening conference calls

Qualifications:

Able to work on complex issues and develop resolutions where deep analytical skills and creativity is required

Proficient in use of project scheduling tools. Proficient in Google Applications - Google sheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive etc. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and MS-Project

Able to work with different levels from team members to Senior Leaders within the organization

Strong command of change management issues and methodologies

Hands-on, results-oriented and attention to detail

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision

Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management and team-player skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and sustain excellent working relationships.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to differing audiences

Passion for learning

Project management experience, preferably 5+ years experience in a high tech environment.

Familiarity with two way radio /cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems is a plus.

PM Masters Certificate a plus. PMP is highly desired.
