The Opportunity:

Avantor, a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for a dedicated Global Product Manager to optimize our Masterflex organization. This IL role is full-time, remote.

Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree, (Marketing, Business, Science or related
Master's or MBA preferred.

Travel:
Up to 20% domestic and global

Required Experience (3 + years):
Maximizing global revenues, margins, and growth of non-BioPharma business of peristaltic pumps, and related fluid handling products by creating bundled solutions, customer or market specific products through curated offerings and innovative plans for growth within the target market(s) and channel(s).
Forecasting sales for all related new product introductions or bundles, accurately and effectively.
Monitoring and analyzing sales, gross profits and other metrics for the product lines making any necessary adjustments in the product line plans to meet goals and objectives.
Developing and implementing appropriate and effective global pricing strategies by channel to maximize the end-to-end margin.
Supporting Global Commercial Operations on appropriate product and pricing plans to support distribution channels.
Driving revenue growth through overall product life cycle management including, but not limited to: product line strategy and vision, product line road mapping, product line development, product positioning, pricing, forecasting, along with the creation and execution of product plan tactics to support channel and non-Bio Pharm marketing programs.
Maintaining competitive product & pricing reports for all products.
Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of competitor's products and strategies via competitive data gathering and voice of customer programs.
Staying current on market direction and drivers through a variety of means. Including, but not limited to, direct interactions with customers, outside suppliers, partners, and industry contacts.
On-going maintenance and troubleshooting problem areas with other departments regarding assigned product lines and / or curated product or market specific bundles.
Partnering with Technical Trainer(s) in training customer facing team(s), and strategic channel partners on product line(s) and / or curated product or market specific bundles.
SME level organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
Communicating proactively and clearly
Engaging with co-workers at different levels of an organizations, from different teams and regions to inform, update and work collaboratively to complete projects.

Preferred Experience:
Utilizing the product development process within the stage gate process including, but not limited to product idea generation, VOC and market potential capture, product specification development, forecast unit and sales demand, DPA proposal creation, product launch program, promotional plan proposal, product training, and overall product life cycle management.
Supporting cross functional teams for annual price roll and costing activities.
Preparing share-of-market/share-of-wallet reports.
Gathering and preparing all the necessary product and technical information and content for the introduction of new products and / or curated product or market specific bundles.
Assisting in product selection, booth set up, booth staffing, technical presentations in a variety of industry tradeshows.
Assisting in development of promotional media.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Product Management experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related scientific or lab or industrial markets.
Familiarity with SAP, C4C, Sales Force, and Qlikview a plus.
