The Labels Division within Informa Markets is host to Labelexpo Global Series of events, and Labels & Labeling magazine.Job Description
As Conference Coordinator, you will play an integral part in the Content Division, managing the execution of the conference program across Labelexpo Global Series exhibitions and summits (on-site and virtually), as well as on our Label Academy products (Master Classes and Workshops).
You will report to the Group Content Director and work closely with our team of regional editors on the content and framework of every program. In cooperation with the Content Director, you will liaise with the Operations team on on-site production elements and the marketing team on promotional and visual details.
Content Planning and Strategy:
Plan and create educational content for Labelexpo global events.
Collaborate with the event and publishing teams to develop conference topics that align with key trends in the region.
Conduct in-depth research, by phone, email and face-to-face, with key industry figures.
Collaborate with event teams to understand content and operational needs for conferences, seminars, and other educational experiences.
Content Creation and Curation:
Working with the content director, recruit the best speakers for conferences and educational programs.
Write copy for conferences and educational programs, includingQ&As with speakers, program agendas, and anything related to the conference program.
Liase with the PR manager about press releases and the marketing team about the promotion of the conference programs and Master Class seminars.
Event Content Management:
Coordinate the production of event materials, including presentations, scripts, and promotional content.
Work with the operations director to assess needs for each conference and ensure the conferences are delivered within budget.
Manage all aspects of the conference on-site, from set up, to welcoming speakers, to briefing on-site staff.
Conduct post-event surveys and collect testimonials from speakers and attendees for future promotion/PR.
Part-Time Schedule for Role
This is a part-time role that will work 15-25 hours per week.Preference would be that this team member is ableto work 3 full days, with a set schedule.
The role will be working with UK colleagues and need to be available during mornings on scheduled days
Domestic and International travel is a requirement for the role -1 week every year, plus one other week every other year.Qualifications
1-2 years of conference management experience, or experience working with speakers.
Proven background organizing events, budgeting, planning or project management.
Basic accounting and budgetary skills.
Experience managing on-site event execution and troubleshooting.
Ability to write clear and concise event briefs and communication materials.
Ability to have a set part time schedule and availability in the mornings
Must have a valid passport or ability to attain one
Domestic and International travel is required once a year.

The salary range for this role is 35k to 40k depending on experience.
