Job Summary
HCSC's Provider Analytics and Reporting team is innovating in the healthcare analytics space by aligning incentives and delivering actionable insights to providers.

We aim to improve quality, reduce healthcare costs and increase overall value generated for members. If you have expertise in health economics and population health and are passionate about enabling providers to succeed in value-based care with actionable insights, come join us.

Our Senior Analytics and Reporting Analyst will provide important contributions to our efforts in this space.

> Hybrid schedule: requires three days per week visibility in the posted HCSC office(s). **

Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus two (2) year experience in data analysis and information reporting data
-OR
Four (4) year experience in data analysis and information reporting data.

Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures to solve routine or basic problems.

Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

Solve complex problems with guidance.

Produce data sets and reports for analysis using SQL, Excel or other reporting tools.

Verify accuracy of reports and provide insights.

Knowledge of SQL, SAS and/or Teradata or other reporting tools / languages.

Work with both internal and external data

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and as part of a team to accomplish goals.

Learn needed skills by performing assigned work.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor's or higher degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field

Experience with product, program or project management

Experience with SQL, SAS or other data analysis and reporting tools.

Understanding of Access DB, Teradata, Tableau, Excel formulas or other BI/Analytics tools

Expertise in health economics and/or population health

Interest in value-based care and impact of VBC on healthcare spend, for both providers and payers.

Experience with HEDIS, CMS and payment models for Medicare and Medicaid VBC programs

Clear thinker who can effectively synthesize ideas and convey complex information to varied stakeholders.

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Demonstrates problem-solving and analytic skills.

Demonstrates curiosity and a desire to make a substantive impact in healthcare industry.
