As a Senior Lab Technician, you'll lead projects on specific product lines, utilizing standard and specialized testing methods. Collaborating closely with engineers and management, you'll tackle high-level assignments. You'll serve as a technical resource for resolving complex issues, guiding and supporting junior team members.
- Design fixtures to be used in accepted and specialized testing.
- Mentor and delegate tasks to junior lab technicians ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Establish and document standardize testing procedures.
- Implement automation for efficient data collection and report generation.
- Enhance test platforms and integrate measurement tools into existing platforms.
- Coordinate test specifications and methods.
- Prepare systems for testing by overseeing modifications and setups.
- Independently conduct tests, analyze data, and document results for major projects.
- Participate in test data reviews.
- Required Degree: High School or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Degree: Mechanical Engineering Technology Associate Degree.
