Global Head, Travel Safety, Security, and Intelligence
This role will report to the Sr. Director, Global Crisis and Special Risks Management, they will enable the firm to succeed in the most complex and sometimes hostile environments, securing staff, information, and other assets in locations across the US and globally. The Head of Travel Safety, Security, and Intelligence is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive travel risk management (TRM) programs to ensure the safety and security of employees during business travel. This role involves strategic planning, risk assessment, intelligence analysis, and collaboration with various partners to mitigate travel-related risks and respond to emergencies effectively.

What the day will look like:
Develop and Implement TRM Programs:
Create and maintain travel risk management policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 31030.
Integrate TRM programs with corporate travel departments (CTDs) or travel management companies (TMCs).
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Conduct pre-travel risk assessments and provide guidance on local customs, laws, and potential threats.
Monitor global events in real-time to adapt travel strategies and provide timely alerts.
Develop and implement emergency response plans for travel-related incidents.
Intelligence Analysis:
Gather, analyze, and interpret intelligence from multiple sources to identify potential threats.
Produce detailed intelligence reports and threat assessments for decision-makers.
Collaborate with intelligence analysts to support operational units and strategic planning.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with security managers, travel managers, human resources, and other collaborators to ensure a cohesive TRM strategy.
Provide training and resources to employees on travel safety and security.
Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related emergencies, offering support such as translation services and crisis management.
Policy and Strategy Development:
Develop strategic policies and programs for corporate travel safety and security.
Negotiate contracts and rates with travel service providers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement of travel safety and security programs.
Stay updated with the latest developments in travel risk management, security technologies, and intelligence analysis.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
Education:
Bachelor's degree in security management, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in travel risk management, security operations, or intelligence analysis.
Experience with international travel regulations, customs, and risk assessment.
Previous leadership experience in managing security or intelligence teams.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and intelligence gathering tools.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and legal compliance.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in security management, travel risk management, or intelligence analysis are a plus
