Our Opportunity

 

We are currently seeking an Engineer/Scientist for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Chicago, IL. 

 


You will be responsible for

 

Performing electrical engineering consulting services on an exciting array of projects that span a wide range of industries, including automotive, consumer products and consumer electronics, energy, oil & gas, and industrial processing
Generating testing protocols based on new product designs
Evaluating test results, methods of analysis, and testing protocols
Communicating technical information to diverse audiences, including preparation of technical reports and presentations
Experience is desired in, but not limited to, one or more of the following technical areas:
Circuit analysis and/or system design
Power electronics and/or systems
Control systems
Embedded systems
Root cause/failure analysis
Consumer product design
Industrial process control

 


You will have the following skills and qualifications

 

Ph.D. or M.S (with relevant experience) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Applied Physics, or similar field
Hands-on experience with electronics hardware and/or software development
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Experience designing, constructing, and performing tests in a laboratory setting
Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
