Temporary Job Description:
Provides day-to-day financial & accounting support using an advanced knowledge of applicable skills, methods & practices & some innovation, analysis, & reasoning to choose appropriate alternatives from among pre-defined policies & procedures to complete work that includes successive steps & involves some non-routine problems &/or decisions. Applies industry and professional standards, university policy and procedure, federal and state laws and other regulations. Provides administrative &/or clerical support. Accounting policy & procedure
Accounts payable
Expense reimbursement
Processing Payments
Purchase Orders
Wire transfers
Financial Data Entry and Upkeep
Budget Statements Reconciliation
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Associate Degree in Accounting or the equivalent combination, training and experience.
1-2 years of experience in a financial support function.
1-2 years of administrative experience in an academic setting.
Experience with account reconciliation
Experience with Payroll
Helpful, respectful, approachable, building a positive work environment, receptive to feedback, demonstrates ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
