Description
Under direction of the Executive Director of Telehealth Services, the Telehealth Education Coordinator develops educational materials/programs for the SIU School of Medicine clinicians and staff, and for external telehealth partners. This position requires excellent project development skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
 Examples of Duties
Administration 50%
1. Develops and delivers educational materials/projects.
2. Identifies evidence-based best practices for educational materials/projects.
3. Other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Research 50%
1. Designs and develops needs assessments, research, and evaluation for educational materials/projects.
2. Creates reports and presentations on research and data related to educational materials/projects.
 Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. One year of business experience in a professional customer service oriented setting.*
* Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.
Desired Qualifications
3. Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360.
1. Master's degree in healthcare-related field or information technology.
2. Working understanding of academic medical centers and their mission.
3. Experience working with telehealth, information technology, clinical support and/or rural stakeholders.
