Job Overview

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will work with the HR team to support a facility of 700+ employees. The HR Generalist is responsible for coordination and administration of various HR Activities related to recruitment and onboarding, HR administration, employee relations, communications, and engagement activities.

Key Job Responsibilities

Assist with investigations, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, etc.
Support the full cycle recruitment process for assigned roles by creating new job requisitions in the HRIS system, reviewing resumes, sourcing candidates, coordinating, and scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, generating offer letters, extending offers to candidates, etc.
Assist with roll out of HR initiatives by creating campus / employee communications.
Maintain and administer HR information system records (SuccessFactors). Partner with HR operations as applicable.
Onboarding / Onboarding: Create new employee orientation packets and host weekly orientation presentation.
Service Award announcements and distribution.
Serve as a local point of contact for employees regarding benefit related programs and payroll (UKG) questions.
Assist payroll with timecard reviews and verification of hours to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Support annual processes such as preparation for calibration, performance reviewprocess, succession planning, annual merit pay and bonus process.
Utilizes information system tools to analyze data and develop and produce regular ad hoc reports. Composes and prepares correspondence and reports. Assists in HR decisions and problem-solving. Assists business leaders with obtaining details to make decisions.
Support human resources function as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements


Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
1+ years of HR or highly relevant experience
Previous experience working with HRIS systems required, SuccessFactors preferred.
Experience preparing reports, presentations, charts, graphs, memos, etc.
Ability to define problems and suggest solution recommendation.
Excellent written and oral communications skills and customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task. The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality always.
Proven self-starter, capable of carrying projects through to completion.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Understanding of federal and state employment laws.
Must be competent in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
