Role Snapshot
As our Proposal Manager, you will support our WPS Federal Business Development (BD) strategy through development of competitive proposals and the pursuit of federal healthcare contracts. The Proposal Manager ensures a proposal is compliant with all RFP requirements and oversees proposal production and delivery activities. As an individual contributor, you will be a critical, foundational member on the BD team and will tackle projects and proposals of varying size.
Your primary focus will be:
Leading proposal development efforts that include volume leads, technical writers, graphic artists, and production support.
Collaborating with our capture team to understand the win strategy and to ensure RFP responses clearly convey proper business perspectives, key messages, value propositions, and differentiators against our competition.
Supporting proposal development efforts through persuasive writing for federal, state, and/or commercial customers.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders throughout the BD lifecycle from business development to capture to proposal activities.

Minimum Qualifications
2 or more years of related work experience.
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5 or more years of experience in a proposal development for a federal government contractor.
Experience leading proposal volumes; researching, writing, and editing compliant proposal content; and participation in color reviews.
Experience with the proposal processes and tools i.e. Shipley, MS Office Suite,
Professional writing experience.
Certifications such as: Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP)
Salary Range
$105,000 ~ $125,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may fall outside of this range.
