Job Description

The Director, Global Advisory Services is responsible for creating and presenting global mobility policy recommendations for global SIRVA clients. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert with Global Mobility industry best practices, benchmarking, and trends. This position collaborates with internal teams globally including Europe, APAC, and the Americas.
This position is open to being filled virtually in the United States or Canada. The deadline to apply for this position is Friday, June 28th, 2024.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Consults on global mobility policy recommendations for current and prospective clients. This includes benchmarking, cost analysis, process and efficiency consulting, guidance on best delivery models and other global mobility related areas such as guidance on supplier selection methodology, organizational structure of the relo team, support the client's talent management acquisition and client retention.
* Be a continual independent student by keeping abreast of industry trends and challenges by researching competitor websites, reading outside journals and white papers, and attending education webinars.
* Partners with internal senior leadership team and provides recommendations on global mobility trends.
* Contribute to product development for support for new products, and liaison with other relocation suppliers to develop joint venture opportunities in areas such as cultural training, tax services, and compensation & payroll to enhance revenue and differentiate SIRVA from the competition
* Collaborates with Learning & Development on global education to internal Sales, Account Management, and Global Operations teams to provide internal development and prepare the organization to respond to growing client needs.
* Contribute to content and activities that will raise the SIRVA profile in industry globally including writing SIRVA blog articles, Policy Matters, and Policy Measures.
* Participate in relevant Relocation and HR Industry organizations: WERC, IPD, FEM, NFTC, and SHRM.

* Establish relationships with Sales, Account Management, Sr. Leadership, and internal support teams
* Utilize subject matter experts as resources that help validate recommendations and process
* Collaborate with supplier network to provide strategic education and low/free cost.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS
* 5-7+ years' progressive Global Mobility experience preferred
* Global Mobility Policy Consulting and/or Account Management experience preferred
* Experience providing consulting or advisory services to senior leaders and internal partners, both virtually and face to face preferred
* Thought leader in global mobility trends; knowledge of industry trends
* Strong influencing skills (influence / persuade business leaders in impacting positive change)
* Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills
* Strong relationship management skills
* Project management and analytical skills required
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills required
* Technical writing experience preferred

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree or further studies in global mobility, relocation or HR related subject required
* CRP, GPHR or SPHR preferred
