Informa Connect, a global leader in B2B events and digital content, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Territory Director to spearhead the growth of our CSP (Convenience Store Petroleum) brand. CSP is the leading authority in the convenience store and petroleum industry, providing top-tier content, events, and unparalleled networking opportunities.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Territory Management: Take ownership of an established territory and leverage your industry expertise to identify new business opportunities within the convenience store and petroleum sector.
Multi-Channel Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote the full spectrum of CSP offerings across various platforms, including digital advertising, print publications, event sponsorships, and exhibit sales. Conduct thorough research on potential clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions for maximum impact.
Industry Engagement: Represent CSP at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and forge strategic partnerships.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their unique goals and exceeding their expectations.
Revenue Generation: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets.Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
Proven Success: A minimum of 3+ years of successful sales experience in media/digital media, sponsorship sales, or conference production.
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the convenience store and petroleum industry, or the ability to quickly acquire it.
Sales Savvy: Experience in conducting market research, developing sales proposals, and closing deals.
Communication Expertise: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Team Player: The ability to collaborate effectively with editorial, marketing, and event teams to ensure seamless client initiatives.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
Further Informaton:
The role pays between $80,000 - $100,000, plus competitive commission based on experience.
