PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Conducts treasury operations and analysis for GROWMARK and its subsidiaries by determining the daily cash position, cash forecasting, borrowing and investing decisions, maintaining records of daily treasury activities, maintaining bank communications and systems, and assisting in daily receipt and disbursement activity.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Projects, monitors and records cash activity for GROWMARK and its affiliates. Makes recommendations and executes cash transactions to fund bank accounts.

Ensures adequate daily liquidity and manage the borrowing from GROWMARK's credit facility.

Prepares daily cash forecast for both domestic and international currencies.

Responsible for executing interest rate swaps, including monthly settlements and reporting.

Supports A/P and A/R teams and other business units to resolve payment investigations, transactional issues or discrepancies with partner banks.

Assists in bank account management by gathering required information and completing required documentation in accordance with bank requirements and GROWMARK's legal department.

Monitors GROWMARK's public stock portfolio and records sales, purchases, dividends and any other required entries.

Assists with developing and implementing procedures for forecasting foreign currency exposures and creating a strategic planning process to monitor and manage foreign currency exposure. Utilizes foreign currency risk management products to minimize exposure.

Ensures all capital calls, cash directives, management fees and other payments related to GROWMARK's GRIP 8 and GRIP 16 pension plans are processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Serves as the primary back-up for the Assistant Treasurer, Treasury Control Specialist and Cash Management & Credit Coordinator position.

Ensures compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures; particularly when making changes to banking instructions for vendors or any other outgoing electronic payments

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a college degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent, and at least 5 years of related experience to demonstrate the ability to provide sound cash management decision making skills as well as leadership to the GROWMARK System.

Understanding and experience with accounting/finance-related areas including cash management, patronage and stock redemption, loan securities and collateral, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.

Prefer previous accounting, banking, and/or finance-related experience.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Demonstrated GROWMARK Essential Abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
