Job Description

The Principal Recruiter is responsible for professional, senior level, and executive recruiting within and outside of their assigned business with an increased emphasis in leading executive recruitment strategies across the organization. This position serves as a strategic and consultative partner to the business interfacing directly with business and functional leaders. This position is responsible for executing an effective job posting, sourcing strategy, and recruiting process to attract, source, assess and select high quality candidates. This role will support the development and enhancement of recruitment processes and provide day to day guidance and training to others on the Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

+ Lead executive and senior leadership recruitment initiatives across the organization

+ Develop and execute long term recruiting strategies in assigned business units to hire top talent

+ Mentor and train Recruiters, Associate Recruiters and Contract Recruiters by collaborating on recruitment strategies and processes

+ Identify, contact, sell, influence and entice highly qualified candidates

+ Proactively assess, recommend and manage additional recruiting resources when appropriate

+ Provide thought leadership and consultative approach in recommending, developing, and executing effective recruitment strategies

+ Lead complex or cross-functional recruiting projects

+ Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience

+ 8 years of work experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition or Human Resources, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in senior leadership or executive recruiting

+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

+ Sourcing expertise to identify critical talent

+ Ability to design and implement recruiting strategies with a consultative approach

+ Ability to handle conflict and resolve issues

+ Ability to collaborate, consult, and influence at all levels of the organization

+ Exceptional communication skills

+ Strong negotiation skills

+ Demonstrated confidence in presenting information to HR and management

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience with Workday applicant tracking system

+ Healthcare experience

+ Project management/coordination experience

+ 1 year of people management/leadership experience

+ Experience in using various sourcing tools and platforms to develop talent pipelining strategies

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

+ Minimal travel may be required

+ Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear

+ Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

+ Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch

+ Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

+ Reports to a Director in the Human Resources department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,700.00 – $151,300.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
