Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Mettawa (Lake County), IL or Bay Area (South San Francisco, CA)
Duration: 6 Months

Overview:
The Oncology Business Operations team leads strategy and maximizes effectiveness across U.S. Oncology, focusing on Congresses, Sponsorships, Speaker Programs, GPO Execution, and External Consulting arrangements. This team collaborates with other U.S. Commercial Oncology teams to establish and manage strategies from brand plans, create annual plans, and support flawless execution alongside internal functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Manage and track contracting operations for external/customer-facing initiatives (e.g., Sponsorships, Exhibits, Memberships).
Support department initiatives with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with company requirements and SOPs.
Coordinate and track compliance documentation for each request.
Track, monitor, and report any variances in process flows.
Analyze the contracting process, identify bottlenecks, quantify issues, and recommend solutions.

Project Management:
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Develop, track, and manage request timelines to ensure on-time execution.
Align focus and resources with business strategy and needs.
Lead and coordinate meetings and touch points with key stakeholders.
Track and manage project status, identifying risks to achieving milestones.
Utilize multiple systems/software tools (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, SRM, SNAPP, iHub, Vendor Master, SharePoint) to capture, read, analyze, and report data.

Financial Management:
Support the Vendor Management process.
Receive invoice/payment requests, determine appropriate compliant solutions, and facilitate/executive payments.
Follow the Administrative Check Requests process, ensuring accuracy.
Troubleshoot payment challenges elevated by business unit staff and/or vendors.

Other Responsibilities:
Generate ad hoc reports.
Provide coverage support in the absence of direct or cross-functional team members.

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of professional experience
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Strong organizational skills
Excellent project management, verbal, written, and professional communication skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with various departments
Comfortable with last-minute requests and changes
Ability to thrive in an environment with some ambiguity
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Quick to learn new programs and processes

Preferred:
Knowledge and experience in hematology and solid tumor markets
Pharmaceutical industry experience
Continuous Improvement and/or Change Management skills
