Estimated annual base pay: $74,900.00 (minimum) - $93,600.00 (midpoint) - $112,300.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an experience Mechanical Engineer looking to join an innovative company, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is hiring for a level 2 Mechanical Engineer. This position will support our Joint Venture department and can be located at one of our Aero Sites located at our Rock Cut or Loves Park Campuses in Rockford, our Niles, IL site or our Drake Campus in Fort Collins, CO. This individual will work with customers and members globally on a daily basis. Interested candidates with a background in pump or valve manufacturing industries are encouraged to apply.
What You Will Be Doing
Breaking down high level system requirements into individual component level requirements to ensure specifications are met.
Analyzing system requirements an identifying required functions and performance criteria for components.
Partitioning system level requirements into component level requirements.
Creating certification test plans and compiling FAA Certification Test Reports.
Executing and evaluating testing including but not limited to elevated and reduced temperature, contaminate operations, fire resistance, vibration, and pressure cycle testing.
Collaborating with Joint Venture teams to integrate processes of GE And Woodward by navigating the stage/gate process.
What We Are Looking For
A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an engineering role is required.
With no experience, a Masters degree in a technical discipline is required
Experience and familiarity using virtual meeting tools is highly desired.
Demonstrated ability in negotiating requirements by collaborating with diverse global internal and external customers is strongly preferred.
