Rapiscan Systems, Inc., an OSI Systems Company is seeking a remote DevOps Engineer.

Rapiscan Systems, Inc. is the leading provider of security screening solutions and has extensive experience in program assessment, technology deployment, operation management, image analysis and maintenance services at major events, ports, land borders and air cargo facilities. Responsibilities

Collaborate with fellow developers and teams to deploy applications in accordance with best practices.
Coordinate all aspects of a release lifecycle including development and test activities.
Create and maintain deployment documentation and network diagrams.
Design and implement software delivery pipelines that continuously integrate and rapidly deploy software using automation.
Responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling applications and services.
Assist in developing best practices for infrastructure as code (eg : Puppet, Shell scripting), software build tools (Maven, ANT, Shell ) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Hudson), and infrastructure automation (VM Ware, Puppet, Chef, etc).
Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems
Perform system administration activities of Linux and Windows servers.
Configure, maintain, and improve environments using DevOps associated tooling.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT STEM field, such as Computer Science
3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or equivalent software-engineering role
High proficiency with SQL language and database management, basic programming skills
Strong software build automation experience, preferably Jenkins
Solid understanding of CI/CD and operations concepts
Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
Travel may exceed 25%
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active US Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio, Excel, Project, and Word
Experience in cloud and on-prem network, server, and application-status monitoring and deployment
Knowledge of Cloud, On-Premise, or Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
Amazon AWS cloud infrastructure experience, Azure, GCP OK
Proven development of innovative and impactful system solutions
Highly proficient technical writing capabilities

Nice to have:
Agile training and development experience
Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, a plus
Required to complete US federal background check, drug screen, and meet requirements for access to US government facilities and/or government IT networks; terms of federal contracts require US citizenship.
