Job Title: Litigation Paralegal – Plaintiffs Practice
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid Work Environment)
A reputable top-tier law firm located in the St. Louis area is seeking an experienced and dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to grow your career while working on our asbestos plaintiff side practice. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work from home two days per week, leveraging our firm’s commitment to a flexible and progressive work environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Assisting attorneys with all aspects of trial and case management.
+ Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, legal research, fact-checking, citation checking, investigation, and discovery.
+ Organizing and maintaining case files and documentation.
+ Managing and tracking case timelines and court deadlines.
+ Coordinating with clients, court personnel, and other legal offices.
+ Completing various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
+ A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably on the plaintiff side in asbestos cases.
+ Paralegal Certificate or degree preferred.
+ Proficiency in legal research and writing, document review, and preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
+ Proven ability to handle a high case-load and meet deadlines, while maintaining strong attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Proactive attitude in managing confidential issues.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite, legal research platforms, and case management software.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.

Requirements – Proven experience in a Paralegal role, preferably within the asbestos litigation field- Exceptional understanding of e-File processes and procedures
- Expertise in drafting and preparing legal pleadings
- Experience in handling complaints and discovery requests/responses
- Proficiency in litigation paralegal tasks
- Familiarity with calendar and docket management
- Ability to work additional hours as required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with standard office software and legal research tools
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
