Job Description
Well established, well run Title Insurance Company has a new opportunity for an experienced Illinois Residential Title Examiner. Examiners that have blended residential and commercial experience are encouraged to apply. This position is remote.
As a Residential Title Examiner you will be performing real estate title searches and examining title history for properties. The position requires a clear understanding of metes and bounds, legal descriptions and complex title issues. Additionally, the position is responsible for providing internal customers and teammates with timely answers to transaction specific title questions. Experience with Softpro & Title Point is a major plus.
Job Qualifications – Minimum of 3 years experience performing real estate searches and examining title history.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

- Ability to work independently; and also function as a team member
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn and leverage modern title production procedures and technology
