Position: CNC Swiss Lathe Engineer

Starting the machines tool business in 1977 and developing its first CNC Swiss turning machine in 1998, Hanwha machine tool division has been focusing on product development to best fit customer’s various needs and resulted in a wide range of line-up of excellent gang & turret type.

We are a company that specializes in CNC Swiss turning machine for various industries. We have offices in WI, CA and recently opened one in IL to serve the US market. We are looking for engineer in the IL area who have experience and knowledge in CNC machine tools.

 

Job Summary: The CNC Swiss Lathe Engineer is a key member of our company, responsible for machine installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, in-depth understanding of machinery, and a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction through specialized technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and configuration of CNC Swiss Lathe machines
  • Regular maintenance and preventive inspections of machines
  • Diagnosis and repair of machine faults
  • Providing technical support to customers through effective communication
  • Testing and implementation support for new products or technology upgrades
  • Prompt response and resolution of issues arising during machine operation
  • Additional task and duties may be required

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding and specialized knowledge of CNC Swiss Lathe machines
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the field
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and creative thinking ability
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within and outside the team
  • Customer service-oriented and solution-focused attitude
