Old National Bank is looking to fill the roll of AVD Support Engineer. As a Cloud Engineer, specializing in Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a technical role that provides support and troubleshooting for customers who use Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), a cloud-based desktop and app virtualization service. The main responsibilities of this role are:
Key Accountabilities
Diagnose and resolve complex and critical technical problems related to AVD configuration, deployment, connectivity, performance, security, and management.
Liaise and collaborate with senior engineers or Microsoft product teams to escalate and resolve issues that require advanced troubleshooting or product intervention.
Document and update customer cases and solutions in the support database and create knowledge base articles for common or recurring issues.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve AVD service quality and customer satisfaction and participate in service improvement initiatives and projects.
Stay updated on the latest AVD features, best practices, and troubleshooting methods and train and coach other support engineers on them.
Assigning session hosts to new users and ensuring they have access to the required applications and resources.
Scaling up or down the number of session hosts based on the demand and utilization.
Providing on-call support for critical incidents that affect the availability or performance of the session hosts.
Monitoring and troubleshooting issues with the session hosts and resolving them in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in azure virtual desktop or similar cloud-based virtual desktop solutions
Knowledge of azure virtual desktop architecture, components, and services
Experience in azure virtual desktop administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience in azure virtual desktop migration, backup, and disaster recovery
