As a Sr. Brand Manager (Sr. BM), you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.
Sr. Brand Managers are leaders in our brands and businesses: You unearth opportunity to drive impact and turn ideas into actions. Your responsibilities will span across innovation strategy and end to end innovation pipeline development. This position is best suited for someone who is highly curious about consumers and their needs & desires, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, has a bias for action, and excellent cross functional collaboration skills. You should be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve goals.
The Sr. Brand Manager role will lead innovation for Taco Bell and our seed brands as part of the 'Taste Elevation' team. You will be responsible for partnering cross functionally to ideate new ways to address consumer problems and grow the brand. You will be responsible for thinking differently to get to new, highly incremental ideas and inspiring others to do the same.What's on the menu?
Build 3-year+ innovation strategy & pipelines that will support delivery of brand strategy and drive long-term growth for the business.
Coach and develop a team of two direct reports.
Partner closely with the Insights team to develop a deep understanding of the consumer and use consumer and competitive insights to drive white space identification and relevant innovation concepts.
Develop business cases across the lenses of consumer & customer desirability, technical feasibility, and P&L viability to ensure we are prioritizing a portfolio of fewer, bigger, better innovations.
Collaborate with the cross-functional team (R&D, Insights, Finance, Operations, Sales) to develop and commercialize the innovation pipeline. This includes developing consumer value proposition, product formulation, packaging structure & graphics, pricing and retailer sell stories.
Build and champion an innovation culture across the Taste Elevation team, bringing the outside in, challenging the status quo, and driving continuous improvement in how we innovate.
Manage the stage gate process for your innovations to ensure key questions are being answered and decisions being made at critical points in the innovation life cycle.

A natural knack to put the consumer first and curiosity to understand their pain & pleasure points.
Proven track record of launching successful innovations and driving business results.
Operates with agility with solid problem solving and simplification skills
Strong communication, influence and relationship building skills in a cross-functional team environment.
Models resiliency in a dynamic, fast paced work environment that requires flexibility to manage multiple simultaneous projects
7+ years of proven experience in marketing with an emphasis in innovation
Experience in design thinking a plus.
