Position Overview:

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist with at least 3 years of experience to manage and enhance our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of innovative social media strategies, strong reporting skills, and the ability to engage audiences across multiple platforms.

Please note: A portfolio showcasing your previous social media and content creation work is required for application.

Important Information:

+ Please be advised that this position would be onsite at our Headquarters in Rosemont, IL, and is not a Hybrid or Remote role.

+ This position will require day trips and overnight travel to our other Midwest offices roughly twice per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Management:

+ Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.

+ Create engaging content tailored to different social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and voice.

+ Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers and fans to foster a strong online community.

Innovation & Content Creation:

+ Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and create compelling content.

+ Create and manage engaging content tailored to various social media platforms.

+ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that align with marketing objectives.

+ Experiment with new formats, tools, and strategies to enhance engagement and expand reach.

Reporting & Analysis:

+ Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and performance indicators.

+ Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize social media strategies.

+ Prepare regular reports for stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of social media efforts on business goals.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or a similar role.

+ Proven experience with social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

+ Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and content.

+ Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data interpretation.

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns.

+ Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

+ Basic graphic design skills or experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
