The Role: As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you'll help attract great people to Morningstar and create a positive team environment for others to succeed in this endeavor as well. We seek someone who's passionate about hiring the best, who values creating a great candidate experience, and who understands the importance of finding talented people with a passion for our mission to create great products that help investors reach their financial goals. This position is based in our Chicago or Toronto office and will report to the Talent Acquisition Director, Americas.

Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to day functioning of the Go To Market (GTM) talent acquisition team to hire swiftly and efficiently, while maintaining superior quality standards.
Recruit and source GTM (Sales, Service and Marketing) roles yourself from end to end.
Ensure the Talent Acquisition Specialist(s) and Talent Acquisition Associate(s) on your team are adhering to our recruiting best practices and processes, and that our new hires experience a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding.
Provide oversight and coaching to a Talent Acquisition Specialist(s) and a Talent Acquisition Associate(s) to ensure quality delivery and to help support their skills and career development plans.
Collaborate with the Americas Talent Acquisition Director, People and Culture business partners, the Talent Acquisition Process Lead and other domain leaders on identifying challenges and providing recommendations on streamlining processes to ensure an exceptional employee and hiring manager experience.
Understand relevant market dynamics and how they impact Morningstar's ability to hire critical talent.
Review and maintain relevant metrics and analytics with the Talent Acquisition Director to provide recommendations on how to improve strategies and hiring processes.
Triage and monitor the workload of TA resources ensuring balance across the team.
Execute local strategy in alignment with global and regional strategy.
Contribute to team meetings by facilitating and/or leading discussion topics for the greater team's advancement.
Enthusiastic promoter of Morningstar's mission and values to internal and external clients; inherent curiosity about Morningstar's business.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience recruiting for a variety of roles either within an in-house talent acquisition team, RPO or recruitment consultancy, with a good command of full-cycle recruiting.
Desire and ability to coach and develop others and to be viewed as a trusted resource. Previous people management experience is preferred.
Ability to positively lead change.
Proficient with tools of the recruiting trade, including applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
An ownership, client service and process improvement mindset, with experience in seeking creative solutions to business challenges.
Ability to multi-task against competing priorities, in a fast-paced, responsive, working environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail and adherence to our procedures.
Expertly navigates the organization to find the right decision makers and influencers and bring them together as necessary, utilizing strong communication skills.
Demonstrates understanding of the message and evaluates the most effective communication channel and tone to engage and inform the audience.
Ability to have a good command of data, analytics and compensation frameworks.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
