Exercise Physiologist, Full-time, Evanston Hospital

Position Details
Evanston Hospital base, rotate to north suburban locations
Hours are Monday- Friday, 4 10's

Job duties include:

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of assigned patients in cardiac rehab based on current standards and practices.

Set-up and administer all aspects of diagnostic exercise testing using various testing modes while monitoring the patient

Operate and troubleshoot cardiac diagnostic testing equipment

Determine and educate patients on appropriate exercise interventions

Job Requirements

B.S. in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field

Strong knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia, anatomy, and physiology

BLS CPR from the American Heart Association

6+ months experience in a clinical setting (e.g., as an EP or in a related internship/clinical)

EKG interpretation experience highly preferred
