HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Security Architect will report to the Chief Information Security Officer in the Technology Department. This role will work closely with product design, implementation engineers, and application developers to advance security features as a core platform component. This role will involve technical leadership and apply a high degree of hands-on subject matter expertise to support the design and development of systems resilient to attempted abuse and that exhibit industry leading security features.
- Lead security architecture for Inspiras platform design and development program, including the design of security controls, policies, and procedures to protect against security threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify security risks and vulnerabilities within the platform and develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to address them
- Apply expertise in healthcare and fintech security frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, PCI, SOC2) and industry best practices to ensure that our platform exceeds industry requirements and offers leading security features
- Architect security best practices and guidelines, focusing on securing multi-tenant platforms and protecting against common security threats and attacks
- Evaluate, select, and implement security tools and technologies to enhance our platform's security posture, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-fraud controls, logging and monitoring, encryption, application security defenses, and access controls
- Develop incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to security incidents and breaches, including incident detection, containment, eradication, and recovery. Design a platform that provides effective investigation and forensic capabilities
- Proactively seek opportunities to lead feature discovery, provide feedback to other design and development teams, and drive security options so they are core to the product
