What will you be doing?

As innovators in Big Data, Circana is looking for passionate client advocates with strong analytic skills to advance solutions that best build the client's strategic vision. Collaborate with our clients and internal teams to maximize and apply insights gleaned from Circana data including store data analysis, household purchase behavior analysis, surveys, audits, data modeling, in-market testing, and other custom projects.

This role will service several accounts within the Fresh Perimeter Organization, which is a specialty practice servicing strategic clients who compete within the Meat, Deli, Bakery, Seafood, Floral and Produce spaces within the CPG Food and Beverage vertical. Other major responsibilities include helping build industry thought leadership and supporting internal program operations.

This role is a Hybrid Client Service/Client Insights with major responsibilities being:
  • Client Service: Leading Unify Dimension Builder (UDB) model deployment and update processes for new and select clients.
  • Client Insights: Help build client acumen with Unify-enabled reporting & analytics via trainings and 1:1 consultative guidance. Lead engagement management for assigned clients via biweekly/monthly meetings. Effectively plug into and help enhance Fresh Perimeter Org operations (e.g., Execution tracker, issue investigation, PowerBI, Dynamics). Help build and deploy world class industry thought leadership with team members.

What do I need to be successful?

Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and translate it into meaningful solutions for clients:

- Approach client with coherent, actionable, and fact-based data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs

- Continually provide analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps and/or opportunities and create value for the client

- Identify business issues and opportunities and suggest the appropriate level of analytic solution/approach

Consultative Selling: Apply knowledge of the business, industry and domain to identify, create and close business opportunities:

- Ask questions to test assumptions and challenge the status quo

- Synthesize information on a variety of issues; translate the information into a project framework that ultimately provides solutions for clients

Impactful Presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional image:

- Become trusted by client, Circana client solutions teams, Circana cross functional organizations, and Circana business partners and considered a domain expert and business partner

- Demonstrate a flexible approach to communication; adapt messages quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise and polish

Client Focus: Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met:

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements

- Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had

- Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improve the relationship

-Track and organize multiple work streams against multiple clients, and manage time and resources against changing priorities

Requirements
  • Proven acumen in driving new Circana data build/refresh processes via Unify Dimension Builder (UDB) & Unify+
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to effectively & efficiently drive cross-team collaboration to successful conclusions
  • Ability to creatively stitch-together data & insights to bring "the best of the firm" to help clients grow their business
  • Demonstrated acumen in teaching clients how to extract maximum value from point-of-sale (POS) & Panel data to drive them towards self-sufficiency
  • 5+ progressive years of experience in marketing and sales with a similar marketing analytics company or at a food & beverage supplier or retailer (prior fresh foods experience a plus)
  • Past, relevant experience maintaining client/customer satisfaction, building relationships, changing perceptions, and growing profitable incremental revenue
  • Ability to build a rapport across functions and levels within an organization

Location

This position is fully-remote with potentially 1-2 trips to select client site each year.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000.
