Job Description
JOB TITLE: System Applications and Products (SAP) High-Performance Analytic Applicant (HANA) & Business Warehouse (BW) Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new reporting solutions or enhancements. Translate business requirements into an optimal data model and technical design for implementing in SAP HANA, Business Warehouse (BW), and/or SAP Data Services, conforming to company’s data architecture. Develop data models and data load processes in SAP HANA, BW, and/or SAP Data Services, adhering to internal development and quality control standards. Design and develop data extractors in SAP ECC and non-SAP data sources. Conduct testing and quality assurance activities for solutions developed. Monitor SAP BW and/or SAP Data Services data loads, troubleshoot and address issues as needed. Schedule batch jobs for data loads using Autosys tool. Address queries from business users, provide troubleshooting and resolve issues, and provide user training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as IT Consultant, or related position involving SAP HANA and BW development. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Designing, developing, and implementing information solutions with SAP HANA; SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office; Designing and developing in SAP Business Warehouse (BW); Performing technical development work using programming languages, database modeling, and data flow design; and Working directly with business users.
Remote work permitted.
Approximately 5% travel required domestically.
