Work schedule: M-F, day shift
Our Construction Group is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Admin Specialist for our Orland Park, IL branch. The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Set up new customer accounts
Process tax-forms/vendor forms
Research payments/overpayments to clear up customer accounts
Communicate with credit specialists and operations
Research audit selection requests
Review banking
Review customer set ups
Reporting on outside collection accounts
Enter customer invoices into online portals
Special projects/administrative duties for credit managers
Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills, good oral and written communication skills, and ability to work well with others
Must be organized and detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Must have a positive problem-solving attitude
Must be able to multi-task
Intermediate level computer skills using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Proactive and able to manage priorities and time effectively
Good customer service skills
Excellent time management with the ability to multitask
Willingness to learn new responsibilities
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear; Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Vision: Close vision, ability to adjust focus, ability to see color.
Lift and/or Move Functions: Occasionally will lift up to 25 pounds
