The Manager, Control Monitoring Program will report to the Director, Global Internal Controls and lead the Company’s monitoring programs over balance sheet account reconciliations, high-risk payments and indirect channel management. In this role, you will perform risk assessments, develop the monitoring plan, oversee Analysts responsible for executing the day-to-day monitoring activities, and coordinate reporting of the program to the relevant stakeholders.

This hybrid role can be based out of our Flower Mound, TX; Portage, MI; Cary, IL; Mahwah, NJ or Allendale, NJ locations. You will be expected in the office 2 days a week with the flexibility to work from home the other days.

What you will do

+ Perform periodic risk assessments for each monitoring program to set the monitoring plan and strategy for the year.

+ Coordinate the execution of the monitoring plan and provide feedback to control owners for observations made during monitoring activities.

+ Perform quality reviews of monitoring results to ensure appropriate conclusions are made based on accurate analysis of supporting documentation.

+ Coordinate with control owners to update the monitoring program protocols, as appropriate.

+ Aggregate results of monitoring programs, including root cause analysis for any issues identified, and provide periodic reports / communications to the relevant stakeholders.

What you need

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

+ Active CPA or other equivalent professional certification preferred

+ 8+ years of experience required (preferably including experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm and additional experience at a global Fortune 500 company)

+ Experience in evaluating internal controls over financial reporting for SOX compliance at a global organization

+ Ability to successfully direct and implement strategic initiatives and operational priorities
