A client in Deerfield, IL is looking for someone to come in and help lead the practice of AS400 development, implementation, and standards. They do not currently have in-house coding standards since the majority of development is outsourced. They are looking for this person to be coding 25/50% of the time and then the other 50% of the time to make sure the rest of their outsourced work is going in the right direction. They will be working with 8-10 developers from their 3rd party vendor. They will be reviewing code designs, setting standards, reviewing implementation plans, making sure they’re building things appropriately, etc.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years AS400 development

- Must have experience with Synon

Experience with design planning, setting standards, and doing code reviews, etc.

Supply chain experience (Just knowing what a UPC vs a PLN is helpful.)

SQL development In DC centers robotics/cranes, with material handling experience

COBOL development null
