At Midland States Bank, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards). Position Summary


The Treasury Customer Support Specialist II is responsible for supporting the Treasury Service products as well as the delivery of exceptional customer service and technical support to Midland States customers, and it’s Bank staff. She/he should always be up to date on products and services as well as any enhancements and/or changes to the products/services. This individual will assist and provide support as needed in order to foster and sustain exceptional customer services.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Provide phone support for Treasury Services clients
  • Assist customers when installing new RDC Scanners and provide technical support when issues are reported by the client.
  • Responsible for assisting customers with setting up and training on Treasury Services
  • Works in conjunction with Client Services, Sales Advisors and Operations Teams to address and resolve consistent issues with clients
  • Assists Treasury Services customers with building ACH Templates
  • Manage the Treasury Customer service emails
  • Quality control contracts, risk assessments and schedules for accuracy prior to being submitted through Credit Quest and the ticketing system.
  • Assist with Suspended ACH files and obtaining approvals
  • Assist Treasury Sales with renewing annual risk profiles in Credit Quest
  • Performs other duties and handles special projects from time to time as assigned by manager.
  • Observe all security, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory regulations and requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date on procedures.
  • Assist with the review and testing of procedures.
  • Train on Critical processes to support Disaster Recovery efforts. (Wires, ACH and RDC)
  • Provide support during mergers and acquisitions
  • Train new team members as needed
  • Assist Manager with monthly reporting
  • Provide support and testing of new treasury products/services prior to offering to our clients
  • Create user guides and conduct new hire / refresher training for sales team related to Treasury products and services
