Position Summary
The Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) in the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine invites applications for a full time Research Associate position. The Research Associate will contribute to ongoing and future research and clinical activities associated with Scholl College's Human Performance Laboratory. Position is affiliated with a NIH grant regarding offloading diabetic foot ulcers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting in human subject recruitment, retention and data collections for a current grant related to different treatment options to heal diabetic foot ulcers
Employee will have research project responsibilities in both the clinical and biomechanics laboratory environments, including independent collection of human subjects study data as well as supporting efforts of other study team members.
Responsible for procuring and managing technological and clinical supplies/resources for studies.
Responsible as assigned for other evolving research and clinical activities within CLEAR and the Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery

Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a health-related profession
Background in human subjects research or working in a clinical setting
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Strong interprofessional and organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to efficiently work in independent and collaborative settings
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and adapt to evolving needs
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with human subjects research or working with patients with diabetes and diabetic foot ulcers
Experience working with a variety of tools for the objective assessment of human movement
Experience in statistical analysis techniques and publishing original research in peer reviewed journals
Broad experience in varied software applications such as Microsoft Office, electronic health records systems, data processing/analysis applications
Prior experience with applications for and/or administration of research grants
An advanced degree beyond bachelors is preferred
